The 7th Italian Cuisine in the World Forum will be celebrated in Milan on the next May 7 and 8, 2019 in conjunction with TuttoFood, the international B2B show dedicated to food & beverage. The Forum, which is part of the Milano Food City week, will be the backdrop for the launch of Melius, the network of the Best and Leading Italian restaurants around the world. Over one hundred chefs and restaurateurs will arrive to Milan from 40 countries for the presentation of an unprecedented initiative that puts together and promotes the best Italian restaurants around the world.
The two day program of the Forum includes conferences, round tables, workshops and tastings in two exceptional historic residences in Milan (Palazzo Giureconsulti and Palazzo Bovara) and in TuttoFood FieraMilano.
During the Forum, Heinz Beck, the 3 star Michelin of La Pergola Restaurant in Rome will present the special limited edition of Italian Cooking for the Global Village, a cookbook with the recipes of the 192 chefs who participated to the ten editions of the Italian Cuisine and Wines Summit (Hong Kong, Bejing, Shanghai, Dubai). Part of the Forum will be also the 7th Risotto World Contest."

Melius Admission Committee, or
All Melius member restaurants are signatories to the Melius Manifesto, which is signed by the representative of ownership and/or Chef. The manifesto is an ethical and professional statement of commitment to authentic, high-quality Italian cuisine that respects Italian tradition, health, terroir, and culture.
Restaurants wishing to join Melius are admitted upon an initial evaluation by the Melius Admission Committee and the Melius Director.
